lalalaa

(During our last sleepover)

Bee Bee: What if you woke up one morning and discovered someone had chopped off all your hair?
Me: o.O .........Dye it pink!

In the midst of my web trawlings, stumbled upon the blog of this girl who has my secret dream hair (bright pink). Maybe someday if I move to this other country where no one knows me, I might dye mine pink ;)

Happy new year! Super ambiguity going on regarding tonight's plans :S

C2C :D

Camp was the bomb :D

Didnt get any sleep the whole time though, what with the waiting for hair to dry and the cramps and the nervousness and the last night of camp being the last night of camp which meant that by the last day, my eyebags were bigger than my eyes. We played signs the whole of the last night and also sat sleepily on the balcony while the guys toothpasted Jia Liang. When he woke up, everyone thundered back into the room and slammed the door, leaving me, Karim and Eugene outside. We ran in opposite directions: Karim and me went up the stairs and Eugene went off somewhere else. On the landing, Karim chucked the toothpaste at me, whispered "HIDE THIS!!" and then buggered off upstairs. So I ended up sitting there blurly pretending I had no clue what was going on when Jia Liang came over looking mad pissed with toothpaste all over his cheek. The only reason he didn't find it unusual that I was sitting on some random lonely landing at 5am is because I'd been behaving in that same hermity manner on all the other nights too. Ended up bumming on the balcony with him and Eugene for a bit while the others stayed in the firecrackered room. Possibly one of the most random last night of camps ever. Also, I lost a bet to SuhyphenAnn and was supposed to do wake up call with her by singing The Hills Are Alive up and down the corridor while she banged on the doors but she never woke up so I had to do it during lunch instead.

High praise was great. Am determined to be committed to reading my bible and praying EVERY DAY without fail. Hopefully at the next camp, I won't be standing by the side feeling lousy for letting my spiritual life slide.

Amazing Race was AWESOME! Except that the plague decided to strike the night before. Was fine in the end because Justin had paracetamol which sort of killed the pain and we ended up not getting 95% wet as Angie had predicted. We finished 3rd!! :D Although Ben keeps insisting we could've beat King Yi if I hadn't: knocked over the sandcastle 3 times, run in the wrong direction, taken so long to eat the coconuts, walked so slowly, got off the bus etcetcetc. We did parasailing too!!!!!!!!! Twas amazing! The whole time I couldn't stop staring down at how far the ocean was from my feet. It was so bloody cool :D

Talentime was megaly messed up because we sat round the table brainstorming for about 2 hours and only managed to come up with this sad family affairs idea. So we decided to just go with that and tried practising it but it was reaaalllly pathetic so with an hour to go we tried changing, then changed back, then moved outside, then changed, then changed again and in the end, with half an hour to go Ben sat down and wrote a sketch, we practised once and ended up getting SECOND last. Woo!! hahaha. At least we had fun in the end :P

And also.. we managed to extend camp by a day! 19th-24th hahah. How cool is that? :P It's quite interesting really because on the way there, the bus that I wasn't on broke down cos of some gear problem. Then before the trip home I swapped buses and the other bus broke down like a billion times and ended up reaching KL at 3am. Ours was pretty jinxed too, what with a psycho freezer aircon which, when switched off, refused to be switched back on resulting in yet another "breakdown" stop. Ours reached Bangkung Park past 1. Ended up getting a lift home because several parents had been dispatched to Rawang to rescue people from the other bus.

The very next day was rehearsals for the Christmas production. Then a dinner at night with a rather random bunch. The service on Christmas morning was cool but was only semi conscious throughout. Half wished I was up in the sound and lighting box instead of on the stage, where sleeping would be miles less obvious. Plus, all the last minute changing of songs and keys and tempos and our state of chordlessness was all too much for my head to grasp so I messed up quite a bit. When we got home, I conked straightaway on the couch and slept on until was ordered to go study, upon which I shifted my sleepy butt upstairs and fell asleep again. Woke up to an empty house at about 9 to realise I'd just slept the whole of Christmas away and missed Kristyn's dinner.

2007 ended pretty nicely :) TIME TO STUDY NOW! D:

Right after we got missed the first bus..
Me: *grumblegrumble*
Marcus: Wooooooiiii
Ju: :D

"It is precious!"

Thank God It's not last week anymore

Bad week is now officially out of the system.

Resolutions for next week (which begins in 10 minutes)

1. Alter shirt from top that doesn't fit to top that fits
2. Finish studying EVERYTHING in Chemistry and maybe materials which is about as exciting as dishwater (pretty tall order since there is camp and christmas and yf and everything seems to be happening simultaneously)
3. Clean room
4. Clean room
5. Eat less junk
6. Look for Australian unis (omGOSH now my parents want me to apply to US- I thought they were joking. How do I tell them applications close like, in a week?)
7. Sing in the car

All the form 5 blogs now contain lots of prom pictures which brings back oh so loverly memories of our own prom which I was half absent from because the music was too loud and both of us can't dance so we just ciao-ed and sat around outside. School was so much fun. It has already been more than a year since we left but I still miss it heaps.

You know I just realised (literally just..like 2 seconds ago) that the way Facebook lists friends isn't random like I always thought it was. It would always annoy me how there seemed to be no system whatsoever as to how my friends were arranged and if I wanted to kpc someone's profile I had to search for their names in the little yellow Firefox box. BUT! It turns out that it goes alphabetically by surname-how smart! And I only realised this when I noticed that I was suddenly scrolling down a whole list of Lee's. Oh my own powers of observation never cease to amaze myself.

Another observation made recently, studying is actually (contrary to popular belief) BAD FOR YOUR GRADES! See right, I studied all night long for Chem 4. All Night Long okay..ZERO sleep. Then used the 2 hours of "stats"to flip through Chem 3B. Guess which paper I got a B for..GUESS! And I really planned on studying Physics, but my unit 4 book went missing (later located it under my bed) and I fell asleep after ballet so I only had time to desperately read through the revision notes and got A's for those. Oh and I studied like mad for Lit and royally failed both papers. (This is the real kind of failing by the way- like 30% kind of fail) sigh..

There is nothing to blog about these days. I would blog about my incredibly weird dreams but they're just too weird. Camp is soon!! Awesome.. 8)

aiyoo

Chem mocks is TODAY and I cannot study :( Have a billion more chapters to go plus the whole of organic chem which is the equivalent of 20 of the other chapters and also I realised we have nothing to study from for 3B :( Howowowow?

SMSing is such a lame way to communicate. And why is my guitar suddenly so irresistable tonight? He's been sitting there ignored all month (occasionally used by King Yi) except on Sundays but now all of a sudden I can't stop twanging the strings (which are all out of tune) Chemistry has never been more uncaptivating than it is tonight. UGH! On one hand I love that feeling of going for an exam toootally prepared..like, ask me anything prepared because its such a cool high but on the other hand there is no way to finish memorising all these lame equations and reaction conditions and reagents and full structural formulas by 10am so I should just screw it and sleep! If it weren't for my inner nerd, I'd just walk in and happily flunk it. :( It is some consolation that all the other chem Ds are probably also up mugging now. Gambate! (whatever that means)

Lame! Everything is so lame! (o ya i screwed up frankenstein mocks BIGTIME)
